The Note pAsser is the visual Collection of Writer, illustrator & graphic designer Elizabeth Stilwell.

As a former educator and life-long learner, I have taught in both China and the U.S. I never thought much about sustainable living until I left teaching, but my past experiences have culminated in my activism for open education and ethics. Now a proud sustainability nerd, my aim is to be a visual expression of ethical concepts and collaborations. The Note Passer is inspiration for better, sustainable future; one that's full of more meaning and less waste.

I am currently the web editor, as well as a writer and illustrator, at Selva Beat Magazine.

I'm a co-founder of Harlem Undressed, a monthly fashion swap in NYC. I'm also a co-founder of the Ethical Writers & Creatives, a group of journalists, writers and bloggers who seek to support and further ethical and sustainable living online and in print. Find out more about the coalition on our website

As a freelance designer and writer, my graphics, photography, and words have appeared on the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator blog, BeGood ClothesThirty Seconds or Less, Made in the USA ChallengeEF MagazineMoral FibresMy Good Resolution, Selva Beat MagazineAptDeco, and EcoGreenLove. My portfolio lives here
